Let's be honest, we are talking about a bounce house. Of course the kids will love it because it give kids the freedom to bounce around, giggle, jump, laugh, and have fun unlike any other toy there is in human existence. Buy this toy, and even the most unpopular kids will have the children from the whole block, and the adjoining ones, knocking on your door. Most parents will rate it five stars for that, and deservedly so. It's awesome for your kids, and not exactly taxing for the parents, but you must be careful.
Now let's look at it from the perspective of the father that will forever be recruited to set it up, watch their kids (and their kid's friends) as they play, and eventually after they are exhausted, tear it down. Allow me to provide The Mule Review.
SET UP
Simply a breeze. Couldn't be easier. Dump it out of the bag, two bow-tie knots, plug in the blower, and two minutes later the kids are scrambling to get in. You need to find a consistent shelf to put the stakes and patches if you use it indoors (which it is remarkably suited for). I've not needed the patches yet. The hardest part is clearing the floor and moving any extraneous furniture to make sure nobody cracks their head on a corner. Do not let my flippant language fool you, placement of the house is important, avoid all sharp corners. We use a yoga mat at the bottom of the slide to make it easier for the kids to slide out.
PLAY MONITORING
Do not kid yourself into thinking that you can set this up, crack open a cool one, and watch the game while the kids jump around. No way. If you are not keeping an eye on all of the ruffians throwing themselves around, you will soon be calling an ambulance and someone else will be calling Child Protective Services. Do not let more than four kids in (they recommend three), do not allow them to bounce into the wall, do not let them jump into each other, make sure the Velcro door is always closed, and make sure you tell them repeatedly to be careful when they do something remotely unsafe.
